Gurgaon: Student kills self over mobile phone

Gurgaon, May 9 (IBNS): A class XII girl student has committed suicide inside a Gurgaon school after her teacher scolded her for using a mobile on the premises of the institution, said reports on Friday.

The Commerce student hanged herself from the ceiling of the school's washroom.

 
The police said the student was caught red-handed by a teacher while she was talking on her mobile phone and was scolded for the act.
 
The teacher also threatened her to call her parents over the incident.
 
The police said they have started an investigation into the matter.
