At least one soldier was injured when the Indian Army foiled an infiltration attempt along the line of control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Battal sector on Tuesday.

"Alert troops foiled an #infiltration bid by effectively engaging infiltrating #terrorists with effective fire in the #Battal Sector at 0300h," Indian Army's White Knight Corps (16 Corps) posted on X.

The operation is currently ongoing.

"During the exchange of heavy fire, one braveheart has been injured. Operations are continuing," the X post further said.

One soldier was injured after a major terror attack on an Army picket in Jammu and Kashmir was foiled on Monday, media reports said.

Security forces have launched massive search operations following the incident.

According to reports, terrorists fired at the Indian Army's new camp in Gundha Khawas area of Jammu Kashmir's Rajouri when alert security forces foiled the attack.
