Indian Navy helicopter crashes close to Mumbai coast, crew rescued

Mumbai An Indian Navy helicopter crashed off Mumbai coast on Wednesday, following a technical snag, a Navy statement said.

All three crew members onboard, were rescued and are safe

The copter was on routine patrolling duty when it met with the accident.

The crew wewasescued by naval patrol and a probe has been ordered to investigate the incident.

The Indian Navy issued a statement soon after the incident took place.

The statement mentioned that the helicopter experienced a rapid loss of height due to power loss.

The rescued crew members underwent a medical check-up.
