J&K: Six killed in Kishtwar road accident

Jammu/UNI: At least six persons were killed when a passenger taxi they were travelling in met with an accident and rolled down the road in the hilly Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A passenger van this evening met with an accident near Nagriana Keshwan in Thakrie block of District Kishtwar, Shafqat Hussain, SSP Kishtwar said.

"Five persons were killed on the spot and one injured in the mishap, later succumbed taking the toll to six," said the police officer.

The deceased persons were identified as Latief Rather, Abdul Rehman Butt, Mohammad Irfan, Ghulam Hassan and Zubair Ahmed.
