Kerala Guv to address Assembly Session on Friday

Thiruvananthapuram/UNI: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan will make the customary policy address of the government on the opening day of the 22nd session of 14th Kerala Legislative Assembly on January 8.

Finance Minister Dr Thomas Isaac will present the State Budget on January 15, Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan told a press conference here on Thursday.

This will be the 12th budget of Dr Thomas Isaac and the final budget of the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Government which came to power in 2016.

The Session will be held in accordance with the COVID protocol, he added.

There will be an obituary reference on January 11, and a discussion on the governor's speech between January 12 and 14. The session will conclude on January 28.
