Kolkata: Bengali serial actor, 15 others arrested for running sex trade

Kolkata/UNI: A Tollywood actor was among 16 others who have been arrested for allegedly running sex trade in Kolkata, police said on Sunday.

The actor's name, who mainly works in serials, has been withheld for further investigation.

The police, conducting a joint operations with the detectives and STF at Tollygunj area in south Kolkata and Taltala in central part of the city, launched search operations in two Spas on Saturday night and arrested them red handed in connection with the illegal flesh trade.

Police said while 11 accused were arrested from south Kolkata, five others were rounded up from central part of the city.

Some of the accused arrested in the case are women.
