Man dies after truck runs over him in Assam’s Baksa district

Guwahati/IBNS: One person died after a truck ran over him while he was returning to his home on his motorcycle in Assam’s Baksa district on Thursday night.

Following the incident, both truck and bike caught fire.

The incident took place at Tamulpur area where a speedy truck hit a motorcycle from backside and dragged the biker for 300 meters.

According to the reports, the speedy truck, which is bearing registration number AS-25-CC-6386, was coming from Kumarikata towards Rongia and it hit a motorcycle bearing registration number AS-14-K-2593 on the same way.

Later, locals and police had managed to douse the flame.
