Noida couple arrested for running international porn racket, ₹15.66 crore via illegal foreign funding found: ED
Noida (UP): A major online pornography racket, run by a couple, has been busted in Noida, media reports said.
According to an NDTV report, the trans-border illegal adult entertainment network was operated by Ujjwal Kishore and his wife Neelu Srivastava.
The network had been active for five years, and the accused made money through foreign sources.
ED finds webcam studio
The couple worked for a Cyprus-based company named Technius Limited, known for operating popular adult entertainment websites such as Xhamster and Stripchat, NDTV reported citing sources.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided their Noida home and found a professional webcam studio equipped with high-tech broadcasting facilities to stream videos on adult platforms such as OnlyFans, the report said.
At the time of the raid, the ED found three women working in the flat who were connected online. Their statements have been recorded.
How money transfer happened?
The ED has claimed to have found illegal foreign funding equivalent to ₹15.66 crore.
The report said the accused accepted payments from customers in cryptocurrency, which allowed them to bypass direct bank transactions and maintain anonymity.
The crypto was then converted into cash and transferred to foreign companies by falsifying purpose codes in bank transactions, disguising them as payments for advertising and market research.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) also uncovered a bank account in the Netherlands, where Technius Limited had transferred ₹7 crore. This amount was later withdrawn in cash in India using international debit cards.
Recruitment through social media, false job promises
According to the report, the couple recruited models mainly through social media platforms such as Facebook.
They created a page named 'echato dot com,' offering models work opportunities with attractive salaries.
Many young women from the Delhi-NCR region were lured by their offers and reached their Noida apartment, only to discover that the couple was running a pornography racket.
The report said the models were promised remuneration between ₹1-2 lakh per month.
Models received only 25% of earnings
Sources indicate that the models’ tasks were determined by the payments received from customers.
The services were divided into categories such as half-face shows, full-face shows, and full nudity, each priced differently.
Customers bought tokens to access these offerings, but the revenue distribution was highly imbalanced—the couple kept 75% of the earnings, leaving just 25% for the models.
Key accused linked to racket in Russia
As the investigation progressed, the ED learned that the main accused, Ujjwal Kishore, was not new to the crime.
He was previously involved in a similar racket in Russia before returning to India and starting this operation with his wife.
The ED suspects thousands of women may have been lured into the racket.
