Prime Minister Narendra Modi and her Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina announced the launch of a new train service between Rajshahi and Kolkata.

They also launched a new bus route between Chittagong and Kolkata.

Hasina was the first foreign leader to visit India since Narendra Modi took oath as Indian PM.

Hasina visited the nation from June 21 to June 22.

Earlier this month, Hasina visited India to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Narendra Modi.

Modi returned to power for a record third term in the world's largest demoncracy following a staggering seven-phased election.

This year, Hasina returned to power in Bangladesh for the fourth straight term.
