Bengaluru/UNI: Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, the spiritual leader, who recently underwent emergency brain surgery in Delhi after experiencing life-threatening bleeding in the skull, is recovering well and making steady progress.

This was intimated to this news agency by Isha Foundation and Indraprastha Apollo Hospital.

In an Instagram message shared by Sadhguru's daughter Radhe Jaggi, it was mentioned that Sadhguru is doing well and recovering quickly.

The official statement from the Isha Foundation also reassured that Sadhguru's parameters are normal and stable, indicating positive progress in his recovery.

The foundation expressed gratitude for the love and support received from everyone during this time.

"Sadhguru is recovering well and making steady progress. We are extremely grateful for the outpouring of love and support from everyone," the foundation said on X.

Sadhguru, known for his environmental campaigns like "Save Soil" and "Rally for Rivers," underwent surgery on March 17 to address the bleeding in his skull.

Indraprastha Apollo Hospital confirmed that he has been taken off the ventilator and has been showing steady progress with improved vital parameters.

"The surgery was carried out on March 17 to remove bleeding in the skull. Sadhguru was weaned off the ventilator post surgery. He has shown "steady progress" and his "vital parameters have improved," the hospital said in a statement.

In a lighter vein, Sadhguru himself shared a video on his Instagram account from his hospital bed, joking about the surgeons finding nothing in his skull but managing to patch it up successfully.

Despite the ordeal, he appears to be in good spirits as he continues his recovery journey.
