UP: Ghulam Hasan, who was killed with Asad Ahmed, buried

Prayagraj/UNI: Ghulam Hasan, one of the shooters involved in the Umesh Pal murder case and who was killed in an encounter by the Special Task Force, was buried in the a graveyard at Mehndori in Shivkuti area on Prayagraj on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, Assad, son of mafia Atiq Ahmed and one of the main shooters, was buried in Kasari-Masari graveyard. It may be noted that Assad and his aide Ghulam were killed in an encounter with the STF in Jhansi on April 13.

A reward of Rs 5 lakh was announced on both of them.

Ghulam's mother and brother refused to take the body after he was killed in the encounter. Ghulam's wife Sana and her brother brought the body from Jhansi in the morning. His father attended the funeral.

While his wife Sana was present at the graveyard, his brother Raheel Hasan and other relatives did not attend the funeral. A large number of people attended the Ghulam Hasan's last rites.
