USA: Police say missing Indian student Nitheesha Kandula found safe

The police said an Indian student, who went missing recently for several days, has been found safe.

"The missing student identified in this bulletin who was reported missing on May 28, 2024, in Los Angeles, has been located and is safe!" CSUSB Police Chief John Gutierrez posted on X.

No further details have been shared so far.

The Indian woman was identified as 23-year-old Nitheesha Kandula.

She hails from the Indian city of Hyderabad.

Several Indian-origin students were targeted in several incidents reported from across the USA since the start of 2024.
