'Airlift' earns Rs. 26.95 crore till Saturday

Mumbai, Jan 24 (IBNS): Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift' has earned Rs. 26.95 crore at the ticket window till Saturday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Airlift has a GOOD jump on Day 2. Is winning hearts. Winning the BO. Fri 12.35 cr, Sat 14.60 cr. Total: ₹ 26.95 cr. Sun will be better."

He further said: "#Airlift Sun biz should be EXCELLENT. Mon evening should gather momentum again since Tue is a big holiday [26 Jan]. Tue will be HUGE."

‘Airlift’ is an edge-of-the-seat entertaining thriller, released on Jan 22.

Akshay Kumar plays the Indian-born Kuwaiti business man alongside Nimrat Kaur who plays his wife. Directed by Raja Menon, ‘Airlift’ is produced under the Emmay Entertainment & Motion Pictures LLP along with T-Series and Cape of Good, in strategic partnership with Abundantia Entertainment.
