Korean girl group band Blackpink renews contract with YG Entertainment

| @indiablooms | Dec 06, 2023, at 03:16 pm

All four members of the popular K-pop group Blackpink have their contract with YG Entertainment label.

The singers – Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé – will remain a quartet, reported CNN.

The label's regulatory filing, however, did not specify the length of the contract.

Their previous contract had ended in August.

“The board has completed a resolution about renewing the contracts with Blackpink’s four members,” YG Entertainment was quoted as saying by CNN in the filing.

Blackpink emerged as one of the most successful girl groups in the world since making its debut in 2016.
