Kolkata/IBNS: Windows recently unveiled the captivating First Look Motion Poster featuring Koushani Mukherjee from their upcoming film Bohurupi, set to hit screens this festive season.

Positioned as Bengal’s first action chase drama, Bohurupi promises an exhilarating cinematic experience.

The motion poster introduces viewers to Jhimli, portrayed by Koushani Mukherjee, in two distinct avatars that capture the essence of her character’s complexity.

In one look, she is adorned with Palash flowers and a traditional nolok, exuding a timeless charm rooted in cultural richness.

Contrasting this is her second look, where she appears bold and enigmatic with kohl-rimmed eyes and free-flowing hair, hinting at a deeper narrative and adding layers of intrigue to her persona.

With these contrasting yet complementary visuals, the motion poster not only teases Jhimli’s duality but also sets the stage for an enthralling cinematic journey filled with action, drama, and suspense.

By presenting Jhimli in two strikingly different yet compelling looks, the film promises to delve into her multifaceted character, leaving audiences eager to unravel the mysteries surrounding her.

The juxtaposition of the traditional and the contemporary in Jhimli’s appearance not only reflects the film’s thematic depth but also underscores its commitment to offering a fresh perspective on action-packed narratives.

As anticipation builds for its release this pujo season, Bohurupi stands poised to captivate viewers with its unique blend of cultural richness, intense drama, and thrilling chase sequences, promising an unforgettable cinematic spectacle that celebrates the spirit of adventure and intrigue.

Sharing her excitement regarding her look, actress Koushani Mukherjee said, "Initially, working with such veterans like Nandita Di and Shibu Da was overwhelming. I felt tense and nervous, but they quickly made me comfortable. Jhimli is special as my first Windows project with such a character I've never portrayed.

"I've put in extensive effort for Bohurupi, and I'm confident that audiences will love this new side of me. My family and friends have been calling since morning, excited about my new look, and I can't wait for Pujo."

The film is directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee.
