Kriti Sanon keen to be part of action films
Mumbai, Jan 19 (IBNS): Kriti Sanon, the two film old actress who has been associated with the romantic-action genre, holds a special regard for action as a genre.
The feisty actress is keen to try her hand at the action genre.
Recently, there was a lot of buzz about Bollywood’s action hero Salman Khan being keen to cast Kriti alongside him in his upcoming film on wrestling.
Kriti’s stature along with her interest towards the genre makes her the perfect choice for Bollywood’s action heroine.
The actress is in a lot of demand with film makers approaching her making headlines every second day.
The actress shares to have grown up watching a lot of action films, when asked about her favorite film in the genre, Kriti said, “Mr. & Mrs. Smith is one of my favorite action films. I love the high octane action that Angelina performs in it. I have watched it n number of times. This is one film I would definitely love to star in, if ever remade.”
The film (Mr. & Mrs. Smith) features its lead actress Angelina Jolie delivering power packed action moves which is something that hasn’t been attempted by Bollywood actresses.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie starrer, rom-com action film is completely in sync with Kriti’s past ventures which were a blend of the genres.
Kriti was last seen in her festive release which also starred superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The actress is to soon begin shooting for her next outing, Dinesh Vijan’s untitled next opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
