Rajarhat, July 23 (IBNS):  Leading furniture and interior solutions brand Godrej Interio today launched its new outlet at Axis Mall in Rajarhat, an emerging residential hub in the northeastern part of Kolkata.

Spread across 6,000 sqft, this state-of-the-art store was launched by National-Award-winning actress Raima Sen and Anil Sain Mathur, the company's chief operating officer.

The new store lies in close proximity to leading residential hubs providing customers with an easy accessibility to the brand. It is segmented into two categories -- home and kitchen products –  the store offers specially crafted products in the home furniture, home storage, and mattress and kitchen segments with modular storage solutions in different styles and finishing.

On the retail expansion, Mathur said: “Godrej Interio has a strong foothold in West Bengal market owing to its huge brand recall and significant customer base in the region. In recent years, this ‘City of Joy’ has attracted leading interior brands from around the world. Due to its favourable location and our strong brand recognition, we are certain that this store will further expand the customer base bringing more patrons into the rapidly expanding Godrej Interio family.”

Anil Mathur also added that personalization is the biggest consumer trend observed in Kolkata. Wardrobe continues to be the predominantly popular category in the region. “Kolkata is a lively metropolis, and its residents have always had a penchant for designer and modular home furniture.  Personalisation today is the biggest consumer trend. Every consumer wants the flexibility of tailor-made solutions in factory-made products to suit their lifestyle, as well as accentuate and complement their home interior design. This trend is well addressed by our recently launched Modulus XL sofa set and Morf-N’Chant bedroom set (from Abundance series) wherein customers enjoy the flexibility of personalised configurations of design, size, material, etc,” he said.

Actress Raima Sen, said: “As an actor, I live an almost nomadic life which requires me to keep hopping from one place to another due to my rigorous schedule. I prefer to choose my home décor and furniture that extends my personality to my home. I am extremely delighted to be part of this new décor centre from Godrej Interio, which is one of the most leading and trusted brands of the country.”
