Rani Mukherji's Hichki crosses Rs. 3 crore mark on opening day

Mumbai, Mar 24 (IBNS): Actress Rani Mukherji's latest released movie Hichki has earned Rs. 3 crores at the Box Office on the opening day.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Hichki settles and cements its status as Day 1 progresses... Records better occupancy post evening onwards... Sat and Sun expected to witness escalation in biz... Fri ₹ 3.30 cr [961 screens]. India biz."

Hichki released on Friday.

Rani made her Bollywood comeback with the movie.

Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and Produced by Maneesh Sharma, Rani played the role of a teacher in the film.

Rani last appeared in 2014 movie Mardaani.
