Rihanna deletes her '#FreePalestine' tweet minutes after posting

Los Angeles, July 16 (IBNS): In an age where celebrities utilise social media for connecting to fans, Barbadian singer Rihanna landed herself in controversy as she deleted her '#FreePalestine tweet' 8 minutes after she posted it on Wednesday.
According to reports, the post was deleted as it was never meant to be tweeted.

If media reports are to be believed, Rihanna was not even aware of her own tweet until her fans started responding to it.

Rihanna was reportedly reading about the Middle East conflict online when she clicked a link.  She came to know about her tweet after her fans were asking her why she was pro-Palestine.
