Mumbai, Sept 16 (IBNS): Despite receiving a strong competition by another horror movie The Nun, Indian horror-comedy movie Stree maintained its dominance at the Indian Box office and earned Rs. 101 crores till Saturday.

Releasing on Aug 31, Stree took less than 30 days time in touching the Rs.100 crore mark.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: " And #Stree hits a century... Crosses ₹ cr mark... [Week 3] Fri 2.14 cr, Sat 3.76 cr. Total: ₹ 101.43 cr. India biz... This one’s a LOTTERY for its investors."

Despite having no big superstar in the lineup, Stree created a magic at the Box Office with the help of a strong story and performance by the actors.

Amar Kaushik has directed the film.

The movie is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj and DK.

It also features Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana and Vikay Raaz in the lead roles.
