2015 IPL Player Auction to be held in Feb

Mumbai, Jan 30 (IBNS): Several leading cricketers from across the world will be up for grabs at the 2015 Pepsi IPL Player Auction, to be held on Monday, Feb 16, at the ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru.
The proceedings will begin at 9:30 am on 16 February 2015. 
 
The Auction will be conducted by Richard Madley, a professional auctioneer from England, who has conducted each of the previous IPL player auctions. 
 
The Auction will be telecast live on the Sony SIX HD and Sony SIX channels. It will also be streamed live on www.iplt20.com.
 
“The 2015 Pepsi IPL Player Auction will mark the beginning of the countdown to the eighth season of one of the most popular sporting events on the planet. The Auction promises to be eventful. The Franchises have returned to the drawing board, reworked plans and devised new strategies, over the previous few months. They will have the opportunity to bid for some of the biggest names in the game,” Ranjib Biswal, Chairman, IPL Governing Council, said.
