Australia bush fire relief: Shane Warne to auction off baggy green to raise funds

| @indiablooms | Jan 06, 2020, at 03:57 pm

Sydney/IBNS: Former Australia leg-spinner Shane Warne on Sunday announced that he will auction off his baggy green cap to raise fund following the bushfire tragedy which hit the nation in recent times.

" Please bid here http://pickles.com.au/campaigns/foxcricket," he tweeted.

In a picture, which Shane shared on Twitter, he could be seen holding the cap.

He played 145 Tests by wearing the cap.

According to the auction site: "All funds raised by this auction will be donated to the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund. The funds will enable Red Cross to give people the support they need in disasters: whether that’s help to prepare, a safe place to take shelter, psychological first aid, information, and practical support through the months and even years it can take to recover. These include communities affected by the devastating bushfires taking place around Australia – right now and those to come."
