BCCI announces organising committee for ICC World T20 2016

Mumbai, July 17 (IBNS) The BCCI has announced the formation of the Organising Committee for the forthcoming ICC World Twenty20 to be hosted by the BCCI from Mar 11 to Apr 3, 2016 in India, the board said on Friday.

MV Sridhar, General Manager for Cricket Operations, BCCI has been nominated as the Tournament Director.

Neeraj Kumar, Chief Advisor- Security and ACSU of BCCI, will be the Director of Security and ACSU for the Event.

Amrit Mathur has been appointed as the Principal Coordinator.

RP Shah will be the Tournament Manager - Finance.

KVP Rao, Manager – Game Development of the BCCI, has been appointed as the Manager for Cricket Operations for the event.

Nishant Jeet Arora, Media Manager of the BCCI, will be the Tournament Media Manager.

Mayank Parikh has been nominated as Manager – Logistics and hospitality for the event.

Professor Ratnakar Shetty, who was the Tournament Director of the ICC Cricket World Cup-2011, has been appointed as an advisor to the Committee.


"The names of the above mentioned personnel have been forwarded to the ICC," the BCCI said in a statement.
