BCCI welcomes FreeCharge on board as an official partner of the VIVO IPL

Mumbai, Nov 10 (IBNS) The BCCI on Tuesday, announced FreeCharge, a digital payments platform, as the on-ground Official Partner of VIVO Indian Premier League for a period of two years.

Speaking about the partnership, Rajeev Shukla – Chairmain, IPL said: “We are delighted to have FreeCharge on board. The new association reaffirms the growing value of VIVO Indian Premier League. We look forward to a successful partnership with FreeCharge over the next couple of years and hope that it blossoms into a mutually beneficial association for both the parties.”

Anurag Thakur, Hon. Secretary - BCCI, said: “On behalf of the BCCI, I welcome FreeCharge to the ever growing VIVO Indian Premier League’s family. I also want to congratulate our team for building the base of this association and ensuring that the backend process to make this partnership a reality was smooth.”

Govind Rajan – COO, FreeCharge, said: “We are delighted to partner with India’s favourite sports event VIVO IPL for next two years as official on ground partner. FreeCharge is an iconic brand amongst youth and so is VIVO IPL, making this an ideal partnership of two energetic brands. FreeCharge plans to launch a 360omarketing campaign across various platforms."
