Mokokchung/Nagaland: The Boxing Association Mokokchung (BAM) organized a free boxing coaching camp. As part of this initiative, around forty senior category participants volunteered in a cleanliness drive at the Multipurpose Sports Complex.

The young boxers, aged 13 to 16, diligently cleaned both the interior and exterior surroundings of the complex for two hours before the start of their daily coaching routine.

BAM's General Secretary, Bendangtemsu Ozukum, emphasized that discipline is fundamental to sports and life, and cleanliness is the first step towards it.

BAM President, Lanuakum Imsong, expressed gratitude to the administration for allowing the association to use the stadium for the coaching camp and viewed the social work as a means to teach the participants the importance of maintaining public property, reported The Morung Express.

On the fourth day of the camp, BAM also recognized the achievements of the Wushu Association Mokokchung (WAM) in the 2022 Nagaland Olympic Games, presenting certificates to the team members and coaches.

The district administration officials and representatives from the 12 Assam Rifles visited the coaching camp to witness the young boxers in action.
