Brazilian star Ronaldinho, other international stars arrive in Pakistan for exhibition matches

Islamabad, July 8 (IBNS): Brazilian star Ronaldinho and six other international footballers have arrived in Pakistan to play exhibition matches in the country.

The players arrived in the Asian nation amid tight security.

Apart from the Brazilian, other players who have joined him for the matches are Ryan Giggs, George Boateng,David James, Robert Pires , Nicolas Anelka and Luis Boa Morte.

Brazilian Roberto Carlos is also likely to participate in seven-a-side exhibition match on the Pakistani soil.

"The visiting players will play two exhibition matches in the country. Ronaldinho and Ryan Giggs are each to lead one of the two teams. In addition to the international stars, the teams will also consist of Pakistan's emerging football talent," Dawn News reported.

The matches are scheduled to be played in Karachi on Saturday and in Lahore on Sunday.
