Deepak Hooda plays brilliantly to help Sunrisers beat Mumbai Indians by 1 wicket

Hyderabad, Apr 13 (IBNS): Deepak Hooda kept himself composed as he helped Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Mumbai Indians in a thrilling Indian Premier League clash here on Thursday.

After Mumbai Indians posted 147 runs for the loss of eight wickets, Sunrisers gave them a tough battle and in a last ball finisher reached 151 runs with one wicket in hand.

The final scorecard read 151 for the loss of nine wickets with Hooda (32*) leaving the park jubilantly with last man Billy Stanlake (5*).

His boundary in the innings helped Sunrisers in going closer to the winning runs.

Hooda hammered one boundary and a six in his 25-ball knock which was crucial in deciding the fate of the match.

Shikhar Dhawan (45) and Wriddhiman Saha (22) earlier provided Sunrisers with a quick start to their innings.

Mustafizur Rahman picked up three wickets while

Mayank Markande scalped four for Mumbai.

Earlier, Mumbai scored 147 runs for the loss of eight wickets.

Evin Lewis added 29 runs and remained the top scorer for the current IPL champions.
