Delhi Daredevils thrash Kolkata Knight Rirders by 55 runs

New Delhi, Apr 27 (IBNS): Delhi Daredevils thrashed Kolkata Knight Riders by 55 runs in the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Feroz Shah Kotla here on Friday.

Chasing a mammoth target of 220, Knight Riders ended up scoring 164/9 in 20 overs.

Amit Misra had the best economy rate for Daredevils. He picked up two wickets conceding 23 runs in four overs.

Earlier riding on Prithvi Shaw's 62 (44) and skipper Shreyas Iyer's unbeaten 93 (40), Daredevils posted 219/4 in 20 overs.

Piyush Chawla, Shivam Mavi and Andre Russel shared one wicket each for Knight Riders.
