Dhoni to play for Pune, Raina, Jadeja joins Rajkot

Mumbai, Dec 15 (IBNS) In an interim auction for the top Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings Players, Sanjeev Goenka's Pune based franchise picked Mahendra Singh Dhoni, while local boy Ravindra Jadeja will don the Rajkot jersey.

The Pune team opted for, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ajinkya Rahane, Steve Smith and Faf du Plessis.

The Rajkot team comprises of Ravindra Jadeja, Suresh Raina, Brendon McCullum, James Faulkner and Dwayne Bravo.

The rest of the capped and un-capped players from these two franchises along with the ones released by the other teams will be up for the main auction, next year.
