First Test: India bowl out South Africa for 431, Ashwin takes 7 wickets

Visakhapatnam: Boasting on Ravichandran Ashwin's impressive bowling, India bowled out South Africa for 431 in the first innings taking a lead of 71 runs on day 4 of the opening Test match here on Saturday.

Ashwin took 7 wickets for 145 runs.

Dean Elgar and Quinton de Kock were the batsmen who scored hundreds for South Africa.

While Elgar scored 160, de Kock was dismissed at 111.

Earlier India declared their first innings at 502/7.
