New Delhi/IBNS: The internet is still going crazy after US President Donald Trump mispronounced the name of international cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and now several top cricketers, including former English cricketer Kevin Pietersen, joined netizens in finding a lighter side in the development.

" FFS, @piersmorgan , pls ask your mate to do some research in pronouncing legends names?!" Pietersen tweeted.

The International Cricket Council also joined the trend and posted: "Sach-Such-Satch-Sutch-Sooch-Anyone know?."

Iceland Cricket,  the cricket body which is known for posting hilarious remarks online, said: "Fair play to Trump. Soo Chin Ten Dool Ka and Vee Raat Ko Li are the most popular Chinese dishes in India. It was nice of him to learn the exact Cantonese."

New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham wrote: "Why hate someone for the pronunciation of names they’ve never heard before when there are so, so, so many better reasons to hate them?."

Trump is currently touring India.

He incorrectly pronounced Sachin Tendulkar's name during the Namaste Trump event at Motera Stadium in Gujarat's Ahmedabad city.
