Iga Swiatek defeats Coco Gauff in straight sets to win French Open Women's Singles title

Paris: Iga Swiatek on Saturday defeated Coco Gauff in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3, in the final at Court Philippe-Chatrier in Paris to win French Open Women's Singles title.

Swiatek overpowered Gauff within one hour and eight minutes to lift her second French Open Women's Singles title. This was Swiatek's 35th straight-set win.

She dominated Gauff right from the start as she put on a terrific display of perfect forehands and backhands.

Swiatek had won her first French Open Women's Singles title in 2020
