India clinch first series after World Cup s/f defeat, beat West Indies by 22 runs in final T20 match

Florida, Aug 5 (IBNS): Indian cricketers put up an all-round show as they defeated West Indies by 22 runs, via D/L method, in the second T20 match to clinch the series 2-0 here on Sunday.

India posted 167 runs for the loss of five wickets and then restricted West Indies to 98 runs for the loss of four wickets after 15.3 overs when rain hit the match.

Rohit Sharma remaiend the top scroer for India with his fighting 67 runs knock.

He smashed six boundaries and three sixes in the innings.

Shikhar Dhawan (23) and Virat Kohli (28) contributed with their willows.

Rovman Powell remained the only shinning spot in the West Indies innings as he fought and played a gutsy innings of 54 runs.

His wicket was taken by Krunal Pandya.

Pandya pciekd up two wickets for India.
