Bangalore, June 15 (IBNS): Afghanistan tasted defeat in their one-off Test series against India by an innings and 262 runs as the hosts bowled out their neighbours twice on the same day on Friday.

The Indian bowlers had an easy day in the park as they took all the 20 wickets of the opponents on the second day of the game.

After India posted a commanding 474 runs on the scoreboard, the minnows found it much tough to fight against the mighty opponents.

After being bowled in their first innings for 109 runs, the neighbours, who were forced to go for a follow-on, added just 103 runs in their second innings.

In the first innings, R Ashwin picked up four wickets to bowl out Afghanistan.

It was only  Mohammad Nabi  (24) who crossed the 20-run mark on his personal scoresheet.

In the second innings, Ravindra Jadeja played the game for India as he picked up four wickets.

Afghanistan were bowled out for even low 103 runs with just  Hashmatullah Shahidi trying to put up some resistance by adding 36 runs.
