Hamilton/IBNS: Riding on Shreyas Iyer's hundred and Lokesh Rahul's unbeaten 88, India posted a mammoth total of 347/4 in 50 overs in the first One Day International (ODI) match against New Zealand at Seddon Park here on Wednesday.

Iyer, who scored his maiden hundred, was dismissed at 103 off 107 balls. He hit 11 fours and one six.

Iyer along with skipper Virat Kohli, who scored 51 off 63 balls, had stitched a 102-run partnership after losing two wickets within 10 overs.

After Kohli's dismissal, Rahul steered the Indian innings along with Iyer. Rahul remained unbeaten at 88 off just 64 balls.

Kedar Jadhav played a cameo of 15-ball 26 towards the end of the innings.
