IPL 2023: RCB deny LSG win in low-scoring contest

| @indiablooms | May 02, 2023, at 04:24 pm

Lucknow/IBNS: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pulled off a stunning 18-run victory over Lucknow Super Giants in a low-scoring contest in the Indian Premier League (2023) here on Tuesday.

Batting first on a pitch which seemed difficult to score, RCB crawled to 126/9 in 20 overs.

The majority of the total was scored by skipper Faf du Plessis (44 off 40 balls) and Virat Kohli (31 off 30 balls).

Naveen-ul-Haq scalped three wickets conceding 30 runs in four overs for Lucknow.

Chasing the score, Lucknow tumbled and were restricted by Bangalore to 108.

Lucknow, who were bundled out in 19.5 overs, lost wickets right from the start and almost had no answer to Bangalore's counter-attack.
