Dubai, Apr 19 (IBNS): Delhi Daredevils clinched a thriller against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by beating the side by four wickets in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Saturday.

Chasing  KKR's166 for six, Delhi reached 167 runs by losing seven wickets in 19.3 overs.

Jean-Paul Duminy made all the differences with his unbeaten 35-ball 53. His innings was laced with three boundaries and equal number of sixes.

Earlier skipper Dinesh Karthik contributed  56 with his willow before losing his wicket to Sunil Narine.

Narine remained economical as usual as he gave away 18 runs and picked up a wicket in four overs.

Morne Morkel picked up two wickets though he proved to be quite expensive as he gave away 41 runs.

Earlier, KKR posted 166 for five in their 20 overs.

KKR received initial jolts as both the openers Jacques Kallis and Gautam Gambhir returned to the pavilion without scoring a single run.

Manish Pandey  (48), Robin Uthappa (55) and Shakib Al Hasan (30*) shined with their willows.

Nathan Coulter-Nile picked up two wickets for Delhi.

KKR had won their first match in the tournament.
