Hyderabad, May 12 (IBNS) Chasing 147 runs to win the match and enter the top four, Delhi Daredevils beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets here on Thursday.

Riding on the back of a 55-run partnership for the second wicket and another unbeaten 72-run partnership for the fourth, the Delhi side eased to their sixth win.

Quinton de Kock played another good knock of 44 runs upfront to set the tone for his side. The Proteas wicketkeeper-batsman hit five fours and two sixes in his 31-ball knock.

After his dismissal, Rishab Pant (39) and Sanju Samson (34) played with brisk pace to hand their side a win.

Pant hit two fours and three sixes in his 26-ball knock, while Samson hit two sixes playing the same number of deliveries.

For SRH, Moises Henriques picked up two wickets. Ashish Nehra accounted for the remaining scalp.

Opting to bowl first, the Delhi daredevils restricted the SRH batsmen to 146 runs, while picking up eight wickets.

David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan of SRH had a decent partnership of 67 runs, but the regular fall of wickets hindered their innings.

Warner top scored for his side with 46 runs off 30 balls. The Hyderabad skipper clobbered six boundaries and hit a six.

Dhawan scored 34 off 37 balls, hitting three boundaries.

Kane Williamson tried keeping one, but managed just the 27 runs off 24 balls. The Kiwi skipper too hit three boundaries.

Though Yuvraj Singh (8) tonked Amit Mishra for six, the leggie had his revenge as he got the better of the south paw in the same over.

Mishra and Coulter-Nile picked up two wickets each, while one each was picked by J Yadav, Shami and Morris.
