IPL: Sunrisers Hyderabad thrash KKR by 9 wickets

Hyderabad, Apr 21 (IBNS): Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by nine wickets in the 38th match of this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) here on Sunday evening.

Batting first, KKR posted 159 riding on C.A. Lynn's 51 off 47 balls.

Khaleel Ahmed of the home team bowled a neat spell and finished with figures of 3/33.

The Hyderabad openers did most of the work with D.A. Warner scoring 67 off 38 balls and J.M. Bairstow slamming an unbeaten 80 off 43 balls. The home team reached the target with 30 balls to spare.

Khaleel Ahmed was declared the man of the match.
