J&K Police organise football match in Baramulla

Baramulla/IBNS: As part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav', and its Civic Action Programme, Baramulla Police organised a football match at Showkat Ali Stadium Khawaja Bagh Baramulla on Thursday.

The match was inaugurated by DC Baramulla and chief guest on the occasion.

Govt. Degree College, Baramulla (GDCB) and Govt. Degree College, Sopore (GDCS) played against each other in which the Baramulla side came on top by scoring two goals over the opponents.

The scoreboard was 2-1 in favour of GDCB.

Adnan Ashraf of GDC Baramulla was declared as the man of the match for his outstanding performance.

Speaking on the occasion, DIG NKR Baramulla highlighted the role of J&K Police in providing a platform to the youth to channelize and hone their skills.
