Joe Root hits 113 as England post 322/7 against India

London, July 14 (IBNS): Indian bowlers struggled as English batsman Joe Root hit a memorable century that helped his side post 322 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the second ODI match here on Saturday.

Root smashed 113 runs off 116 balls.

He smashed eight boundaries and a six in his knock.

Jason Roy (40), Jonny Bairstow (38), Eoin Morgan (53) and Willey (50*) contributed with their willows.

Kuldeep Yadav picked up three wickets for India.

India are leading the series 1-0.
