Sydney, Dec 27 (IBNS): Former Australian player Justin Langer has said it was took early to speak about  his prospects of becoming Australia's next head coach.

"It's all hypothetical. It's two years away," Langer was quoted as saying by Cricket Australia website.

"A lot happens in two years. Honestly I don't even have to think about it at the moment. I love my job here," he said.

Australian coach Darren Lehmann has confirmed that he will not extend his contract with the nation side beyond October 2019.

His contract is set to run out following the next Ashes series in 2019.

The former Australian cricketer had taken up the responsibility in 2013 in the wake of his predecessor Mickey Arthur's shock sacking.

He had signed a new contract last year runs through to October 2019.
Darren is currently coaching the national side in all three formats of the game.

"That will be it," Lehmann was quoted as saying to Fox Sports as reported by Cricket Australia website.

"For me, I’ve really enjoyed the role and (am) loving it," he said.
