Kings XI Punjab beat Pune by six wickets

Mohali, Apr 17 (IBNS):Kings XI Punjab defeated MS Dhoni's Rising Pune Supergiants by six wickets in an Indian Premier League clash here on Sunday.

Restricting Pune at 152 for the loss of seven wickets, Kings reached 153 runs by losing four wickets.

Murali Vijay (53) and Manan Vohra  (51) added 97 runs in the first wicket partnership which helped the home side set a solid foundation at the  start of the innings.

Hammering 14-ball 32 runs, which included three boundaries and two sixes, Glenn Maxwell set a victory  for the visitors at the end of the match.

M Ashwn picked up three wickets for Pune.

Faf du Plessis hit 67 runs and Steve Smith scored 38 runs which  helped Pune score 152 runs on the scorecard.

Mohit Sharma took three wickets for Kings.
