Leander-Martina knocked out of Wimbledon

London, July 8 (IBNS): Ending the Indian challenge, tennis ace Leander Paes and his Swiss mixed doubles partner Martina Hingis bowed down to Henri Kontinen and Heather Watson on Thursday in the third round of the Wimbledon Mixed Doubles category.
The Indo-Swiss pair started off well, clinching the first set 6-3, before conceding the next two to crash out of the Big W.
 
Paes-Hingis lost the next two 3-6, 2-6.
 
Earlier in the day, the swiss ace had lost her Women's Doubles match in the quarter finals. the match also ended Sania Mirza's run in this year's Wimbledon, who had earlier crashed out of the Mixed Doubles category in the second round.
