Santiago, June 21 (IBNS): Adding one more feather to his glorious career, Argentina's football star Lionel Messi has won his 100th cap for the national side during a Copa América Group B encounter with Jamaica on Saturday.

He had made his official debut for the national side in 2005.

Messi has played three World Cups for the national side.

With Javier Zanetti (145), Roberto Ayala (115), Javier Mascherano (114) and Diego Simeone (106) preceding him, Messi has become the fifth Argentine football to touch 100 caps mark.

Argentina won Meesi's 100th match 1-0 against Jamaica.
