Mumbai FC ties up with VPPL

Mumbai, Jan 30 (IBNS): Mumbai FC has announce its association with the Vile Parle Premier League (VPPL), which one of the biggest youth football league in Mumbai.
The tournament will be utilised by Mumbai FC as their Under-19 talent hunt.
 
The VPPL is a franchise based league which is in its 5th season and with over 600 players participating in the league.
 
Mumbai FC coaches will scout for young talented players from those participating in the VPPL and the best will be selected for trials with Mumbai’s only I-League club. 
 
With grassroots and youth football becoming the main focus of the country, the association with VPPL provides a fantastic opportunity for Mumbai FC to tap potential in the city.
 
Kundan Chandra, Mumbai FC, Head of Youth development said, “Talented players participate in this tournament and it gives us an opportunity to monitor the youngsters from all across Mumbai playing in this tournament. That would help us to select some good upcoming players and draft them into our club."
