Mumbai Indians beat Gujarat in thriller

Mumbai, Apr 16 (IBNS): Mumbai Indians played wonderfully as they clinched a thriller against Gujarat Lions in an IPL match here on Sunday.

Chasing Gujarat's 176 runs for the loss of four wickets, Mumbai reached 177 runs by losing four wickets with a ball to spare.

Nitish Rana hit 53 in his innings, smashing four boundaries and two sixes.

Rohit Sharma ensured victory by remaining unbeaten at 40 not out. He hit three boundaries and a six.

Kieron Pollard joined the party as she hit quickfire 23-ball 39.

He hit two boundaries and three sixes.

Earlier, Brendon McCullum hit 44-ball 64 to help Gujarat post competitive score on the board.
