NZ survive Scot attack
After bowling out Scotland at 142, New Zealand reached the target of 146 runs by losing seven wickets and 24.5 overs to spare.
New Zealand kept losing wickets at regular intervals with
Kane Williamson top scoring with his 38.
Martin Guptill (17), Brendon McCullum (15), Ross Taylor (9), Grant Elliott (29), Corey Anderson (11) and Luke Ronchi (12) all surrendered after getting a start in front of some spirited performance by the Scottish bowlers.
Iain Wardlaw and Josh Davey impressed with their performance by picking up three wickets each.
Earlier, Scotland had posted 142 runs on the scorecard.
Matt Machan (56) and Richie Berrington (50) remained the top-scorer for the side.
