Indian Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra clinched his first title of 2025 by winning at the Paris Diamond League on Friday despite not throwing a 90-metre magic.

Chopra, a two-time Olympic medalist, clinched the title with an 88.16 m throw.

The throw was enough to keep the challenge posed by Julian Weber at bay.

This was Chopra's first victory at the Diamond League event after Lausanne 2023.

Weber held the second spot with 87.88m throw.

Mauricio Luiz da Silva ended the run in the third spot with 86.62m attempt.
