Pakistan: Virat Kohli's fan arrested for hoisting Indian flag

Okara, Jan 27 (IBNS): A Pakistani fan of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has been arrested by the police for hoisting Indian flag, media reports said on Wednesday.

The Saddar police arrested the man who had hoisted the Indian flag at the roof of a house in a Pakistani village.

"Led by information, a police team raided 54/2L village on Monday night and found the Indian flag at the roof of Umar Draz’s house. Umar got wind of the raid and escaped but police arrested him after some time," Dawn News reported.

The police registered a case against the arrested person under section 123-A of PPC and 16 MPO, reports said.

The detained person said he was a fan of the Indian Test skipper.
